There are requirements for the state of Massachusetts that one must qualify for in order to attend our state certification driving courses. To be certified as a driving school instructor, you will be subject to both a criminal and driving record check and must be at least 21 years of age.

There are two categories of instruction you can train for: commercial and non-commercial. Commercial involves the preparation of drivers of passenger buses, diesel trucks, and ambulances, while non-commercial is the training of those driving cars, minivans, SUVs, light trucks, and motorcycles or mopeds. Depending on which specialization you want to take, you must have at least 24 months of operating experience in that same license classification.
